The grooviest comment I received today on this outfit is that I looked like a Scottish girl. "The updated version!" She said quickly, trying to make up for the fact that she might have just dissed me.
I thought it was sweet.
Well, all is well for me.
Hope everything is with you.
Oh man, so I guess I have been taking a little vacay from blogging. With school starting and whatnot, it's been a bit crazy. My bus is about forty minutes late to drop me off everyday, but you know what? It's okay. I just have less time to blog hahha. And more time to smell pleather interior.
The dress you see is from Goodwill, of course >.> The sandals are new from TJMaxx. It took me so many stores to find a good pair of gladiators that I actually liked and were affordable. Belt is my momma's. Tellll me what ya'll think:]
Sorry that it's taken so long for me to post some more. Been kinda blech lately.. Idk.. Ummm yeah, I'll post more later.
Ciao.
New favorite combo: Shorts and Tights. Inspired by a snapshot in "marie claire," I decided at five o'clock this morning that I would cut up some oversized jeans and turn them into shorts. These are the results:
Went to the park today; all these were taken by my darling cousin, Carly.
The dress I'm wearing is actually a flannel shirt size XL Tall that is wrapped around me in some odd way to form the dress you see.
Let me know what you think, loves.
Ciao<3
Yesterday was an absolute fabulous day full of my own leisure and personal pleasures. I left the lodge at noon-thirty for a parade, but didn't watch much. Instead, I shopped at the art fair going on the other side of the street. Not too much to see there except a man selling his daughter's artwork. It was fabulous. I got a Beatles shirt made of a printing of an original drawing. I spent the latter duration of the day at a coffee shop, biding my sweet time perusing Lookbook and blogs.
Today was pretty much spent riding in the car and snacking on McDonald's on numerous occasions.
I'd love to stay and chat, but Netflix Instant Watch is calling my name. Ciao, loves, and thanks again for taking the time to read.
The outfit with the plaid shorts is Sunday's outfit. All the pictures were taken Sunday except for the Converses one.
Hello there :]
Currently, I am in a small coffee shop in a town of population 2,500. Yes, five hundred more than the setting of the epic Twilight novels.
The plane ride yesterday felt really, really, long. But, I get a thrill from traveling, so it's okay. My dad, brother, and I are staying a lodge on the outskirts of the city, and it's AMAZING. It's my third time staying there, and yet, it never ceases to amaze me. I lovvvveee it hahahah.
Yesterday was extremely boring except when I went to church that night. It was really awesome because it was just a night full of singing and worship and stuff.
Totally wonderful; I had a blast.
However, I did not feel like dressing up, as you can see. Sorry for the somewhat shoddy quality of the photos. Enjoy! :]
It's one of those days
where sweats feel like an evening gown.
And, I don't care that my hair
is pulled into a messy knot.
I have papers to type and words to define,
But I lack the gumption to do so.
I don't feel like taking pictures.
I don't feel like dressing chic-ly.
I want to lie in bed,
cover myself with the covers,
and sleep.
It was dang hot out, lemme tell you. Ehhh wearing a Hollister(bleck, i know) tank top, a black one, and black skinny jeans. Polka dot flats.
My camera died today so I couldn't take any pictures. I gotta charge the batteries tonight. It's kinda been a lazy Sunday, which is actually how I like them. Yeppp, I made this montage in honor of "Along for the Ride" by Sarah Dessen.
