George Segal- A New Favorite

I was reading the TGIF section of yesterday's paper, and the main article was about George Segal. I had heard of him before, but I never really looked into his art.
Segal (1924-200) constructed sculptures from plaster and put them into various scenes that he found suitable. Each statue seemed melancholic, representing the emotional and trying times of the Great Depression. The lifeless, sad forms were his signature.

An Updated Scottish Lassie

The grooviest comment I received today on this outfit is that I looked like a Scottish girl. "The updated version!" She said quickly, trying to make up for the fact that she might have just dissed me.
I thought it was sweet.

Soooo, lately, I've been uber duber busy. But I know you don't want to hear my epic tales. Or my redundant "hahahahahah." I am loving my journalism class, and I have learned more in then past week of history than I did.. I don't know. I can't think of anything.
AHHH! Have you guys seen the September issue of Vogue yet? I was purusing it in B&N today, and I am crazy over the issue. I didn't finish it, but I had quite a time looking at all the adverts.
The first day of September is encroaching upon us, so get ready for a whole new season and a brand new wardrobe! :D

Oh man, so I guess I have been taking a little vacay from blogging. With school starting and whatnot, it's been a bit crazy. My bus is about forty minutes late to drop me off everyday, but you know what? It's okay. I just have less time to blog hahha. And more time to smell pleather interior.

The dress you see is from Goodwill, of course >.> The sandals are new from TJMaxx. It took me so many stores to find a good pair of gladiators that I actually liked and were affordable. Belt is my momma's. Tellll me what ya'll think:]
