Brittany Murphy, one of my own favorite actresses, died this morning due to cardiac arrest. Judging by the photos taken of her from Tuesday at the premiere of "Across the Hall," it is likely that she was battling from a severe eating disorder.
Eating disorders are known to cause not only weight problems, but extreme health risks. May this be a notice to those who are battling with their body image: A beautiful, talented woman chose not to eat...at the expense of her life.
